A Mobile Waiting To Be Made

I designed this mobile two years ago but have never gotten around to building it. What you see below is a maquette made from painted cardstock, tape, and thin wire. It started out as a series of three separate mobiles, each exploring a single shape ― circles, rounded triangles, and rounded squares. But then I thought I'd slap them all together into one giant mobile. The maquette is about two feet wide, and the real thing would probably be twice that size. That's part of the problem; it would be too big for me to display anywhere in our tiny house. So, until someone commissions it, it will probably remain a twinkle in its father's eye.

Hey Werner, would you be interested in being part of the holiday show at the gallery? It will be called Gifted. It will be a group show of about 4 or 5 very different artists.
Let me know.
I finished a soap pump- see blog!
